If you are interested in where your food of the animal variety is raised, check out this website. View the country as a whole or individual states/counties. Check out the number of cattle, hogs, dairy farms, egg layers, broiler chickens raised in the country. It is only showing factory farms or CAFOs (confined animal feeding operations) as I prefer to call them. So you don't see just how many small producers or family raised animals there are but it is still very useful information.
