Weekly Squee! Puddle Jumping Elk

I've been a long time believer in the notion that animals feel more emotions than people have given then credit for. I've read about mourning animals, seen animals who miss their playmate, watched animals get angry or frustrated, experienced them expressing love or affection, and of course watch them play. Here is a great video that shows the universal joy of jumping in a mud puddle. This young elk is obviously playing in the puddle and it makes me smile.
